So SLeepy!!

        I can never get a real "handle" on my PD! Some days I am full of energy and other days I am so sleepy that I can barely stay awake.   Today is a sleepy day! I think that the fact that I am usually awake most of the night makes my sleep schedule  so off!  It is annoying. I had so much planned to do today! I chatted with my friend B today. Like me, she also has Parkinson's Disease. She is probably one of the most upbeat people I have ever known!  B told me that when people like us with PD get the Coronavirus that we have  a lot of difficulty breathing because of our muscle weakness,movement problems, etc.  I was telling B that I decided to take my meds differently. I take  a whole tablet and then two hours later, I take the half tablet.  And then 2-3 hours later, I take a whole tablet. MY dosage is supposed to be 1.5 tablets three times daily.  B told me that the pills won't work as effectively but I am feeling better with my new plan!
        I also chatted with my friend Aileen.  She cracks me up, she is also such an upbeat person. Her husband is in the hospital but not with covid-19, he had blood clots but is OK now.
         Yesterday I was in a virtual meeting with my daytime bereaved mom peeps!  There are only 6 of us because a few have moved, my friend Roe died and a few others got jobs.  One of the moms had covid 19 but she is so much better now.  She looked great and I am so happy about that!! My friend Nancy has been painting rocks, they are so beautiful.  Today when Dan got the mail, there was

a special surprise in my box!  I just LOVE it!! Nancy paints them free hand. I could do a stencil but I am not good at free hand drawing or painting!

         Yesterday we lost power because of the winds and rain.  I had a turkey breast in the oven when the power went off, it had to cook for two more hours. I was going to try to cook it in my slow cooker but I didn't know how long to cook it or how it would taste!  So I cooked the rest of it today and it was super delicious!!  As I was slicing it, Olivia was eating pieces with her hands. I had to stop slicing with the electric knife because she kept coming over for more!  

    Today my order came from Rite Aid. I had ordered make up sponges, toothpaste, deodorant, and a few bags of candy. Dan looked in the box and started eating the candy before I got any!! I told Olivia and Olya that they could order $60 of things online. It is boring at home and it is fun to get packages in the mail. Olivia ordered from a site called Sheen.  The site has really cute clothes.  

 My friend's sister is in the hospital with Covid-19.  I called our other two best friends and asked them if they wanted to order flowers with me for our friend.  I was fairly certain that they would say yes. Jackie said to me, I don't think that florists are essential businesses!! Duh, how stupid am I?? Anyway, Jackie called me back later and she said she called the florist and the answering tape said they had contactless delivery so I think they will be able to be sent to Nancy.  I totally went with her logic so I am glad she called!!
