JULY 15
Today was NOT a good PD day! I feel like I am having tiny shakes under my skin. It’s sort of difficult to describe. I am lethargic, but don’t feel sick at all. I feel like my body is tremorring under my skin. It is a very weird sensation. I hope I am not starting to get tremors. This is a very real feeling but it is subtle. I am trying to ignore it but it keeps annoying me and I am so lethargic that I am sitting around a lot! I can feel the small trembling as I am sitting here typing my blog post.
I went outside to water my flowers and wanted to scream. I have deer netting on my hostas but they are almost all eaten down to the stalks! The deer must have figured out how to put their heads under the netting or else I have rabbits eating them. If they are being eaten by rabbits, they are some MIGHTY big rabbits!! Someone had told me about LIQUID FENCE which is a deer and rabbit repellant. I had bought it and went and got it. I mixed about 8 gallons of the stuff and poured it around my rose bushes and my hostas. I had to sit down in between pouring each gallon(so annoying!!) I was determined to get it finished today! I hope it works, although maybe I shouldn’t even bother. I don't know that they will look good again this summer.
Friday is Olivia’s 23rd birthday. I made a marble cake for her today because we are celebrating tomorrow night because Renee is off from work! She is off because Adam’s brother is getting married today! They were supposed to get married in Disney but had to cancel that due to coronavirus. They are having a small wedding with immediate family members. He is marrying a lovely woman and I am so happy for all of them. I had purchased a large white serving platter for them to take to Dan and Laura’s kids. I wanted the three kids to draw the wedding scene with Sharpie markers. Then the plate is baked in the oven for about 15-20 minutes and the picture is permanent! I spoke to Renee when they were on their way to the wedding and they forgot to take the platter with them. For Olivia, I used a vanilla cake mix and then I added cocoa mix to some of the batter and then swirled it into the cake. I used Hershey’s chocolate frosting and it smells heavenly! Olivia and Olya and Frankie are going camping for the weekend so Wed. night is a good night to celebrate. I spent time wrapping her gifts and decorating the dining room for the cake and gift celebration. We are ordering takeout from Olivia’s favorite restaurant and we’ll eat outside by the pool. I finished the project I was working on for Olivia’s birthday and I will post a picture of it tomorrow! She sometimes reads my blog and I don’t want her to know what it is until tomorrow. I love the birthday projects so much more than the gifts!! I had to sit down every 30 – 45 minutes while decorating. My gait kept freezing and I felt like I was going to fall. I hope tomorrow is a better day!!

The last few days have been hectic but fun. I have been so tired lately. When I don’t get enough sleep, my Parkinsons gets out of kilter! I went to a bereaved parent meeting on Wed. night. My friend Carol, who is the group leader, had the meeting at her house. We were socially distanced from each other. I went into her house to use the bathroom.
